Our Patrons

Dr Ian Hampson

Caring Cancer Trust's Medical Patron, Dr Ian Hampson PhD, is a leading cancer research scientist and heads the Oncology research laboratories at Manchester University, St. Mary's Hospital. He and his wife Lynne are exceptional masters of their craft and have recently concluded 5 years of research into Cervical cancer with outstanding results. With Dr Hampson we have a renowned leader in the field who will help us further champion our cause.

"UK based charities provide funding equivalent to a massive two thirds of the total research funding available. This means that for every 3 scientists funded by the government, 2 are funded by charities! It is essential for this to continue. Without their support and the donations you give them, research would stall."
